Aam Aadmi Bima Yojana (AABY) Scheme introduced by the Govt. of India to extend death and disability insurance cover to rural landless houseless of J&K State through Life Insurance corporation of India (LIC).
Benefits of Aam Aadmi Bima Yojana (AABY)
The member should be aged between 18 years and 59 years
The member should normally be the head of family or one earning members in the family of a rural land less house holders.

Benefits of Aam Aadmi Bima Yojana (AABY)
- Natural Death Rs. 30000/-
- Accidental Death Rs. 75000/-
- Partial Disability due to accident Rs. 37000/-
- Permanent Disability Rs. 75000/-
- Two children of insured beneficiaries studying from class 9th to 12th will get Rs. 100/- PM per students as scholarship.
- Rs. 200/- per annum per member out of which 50 % will be borne by the State and the remaining 50 % by the Govt. of India.
