Prosthetic Aid Scheme for Handicapped Persons. A J&K State Scheme.

The handicapped persons are being prosthetic aid in the shape of aids and appliances. Sanctioning Authority Distt. Level Committee headed by DDC, Member Secretary is DSWO and CMO is Member. 

Benefits of Prosthetic Aid Scheme for Handicapped Persons

• The handicapped persons are being provided Motorized Try-cycle having not less than 40% deformity
• To provide hearing aids, wheel chair and artificial limbs etc. 

Eligibility Criteria for Prosthetic Aid Scheme for Handicapped Persons 
 
Handicapped persons with 40% disability. 

Documents Required for Prosthetic Aid Scheme for Handicapped Persons

• Disability Certificate issued by the Medical Board.
• Income Certificate
• Ration Card

Application shall be made on prescribed form
